Read and write RLE "Run Length Encoded" files
pyrle is a Python extension module that enables reading and writing of Run Length Encoded (or RLE for short) files.
This file format is used for storing Cellular Automata patterns for various Life applicaitons.
How to use the documentation
The docstring examples assume that pyre has been imported as pyrle:
>>> import pyrle
