nose2 plugin that uses the Django test runner

Project Description
Short Description
A plugin for the Nose2 test execution framework that invokes the Django test

Mike Lee <>

nose2-django is a plugin that allows the Django test runner to be used as the
test runner with the Nose2 test execution framework.

Below is an example of a test configuration. An example configuration file is
also included in the 'tests' directory.

[nose2-django] # The plugin's configuration namespace.
always-on = True # Enable the plugin to run. Optionally you could just specify
# `-J` from the command line.
settings = example_settings # The name of the Django settings file to use.
settings-dir = . # Optional. The directory to search for the settings file in.
# This is included to be explicit - you could set the
# `[unittest]` option for `code-directories` to source this
# directory and it *should* work the same.
django-dir = /path/to/django # Optional. Loads an alternative location for
# Django into your PYTHONPATH.
