Upload csv and search the resulting dictionary
This has been moved to the internal KNMP repository at email@example.com:knmp_website/knmp.nl
See src/knmp.memberlist, currently in the zest-ledenlijst branch. If another customer needs something like this, we could take this code and put it in the Plone collective.
With this package you can upload a csv, store it as a dictionary and search it.
Not sure yet if this is a good one to put in the collective or if we keep it for a single customer.
You have a csv file with data. You want to make this available in your Plone Site for people to search.
For the moment, we support just one csv file.
Installation and usage
Add collective.csvsearcher to the eggs of your zope instance in your buildout config. Run buildout and start the zope instance. Create a Plone Site.
As Manager visit @@csvsearcher-upload in the Plone Site root and upload a csv file. Visit @@csvsearcher in the Plone Site root to search within the data.
If you want Members to be able to view the data, go to the Zope Management Interface, then the Security tab, search for csvsearcher: Search and grant Members this permission.
This works on Plone 4.3 with Python 2.7. It might work on earlier versions if you are lucky.
In Dutch, as these are notes for a customer project where we want this.
- Printen mooier maken.
- Ergens anders dan op Plone Site root opslaan/bekijken?
- In klantproject in rolemap.xml Member de csv view permissie geven.
- Alvast in verschillende volgordes voorgesorteerd opslaan?
- Nothing changed yet.
- Initial release. [maurits]
